Glasgow City Council have decided it’s not worth the effort and money to re-open the Community Centre.

Now is the time to show your support.

For those who haven’t experienced the Community Centre before it was closed due to COVID, it’s a shame as it was a hub for locals, children and adults alike used this centre.

The Community Council were positioned in this centre giving locals someone to talk to, take the pressure off a little, help was always on hand.

It was a very popular place. I could well understand the closing if it hadn’t been used but it was! Daily!!

£1.1 million was set aside to re-open community centres across Glasgow but now they’ve decided Ruchill is not worth it.
